Mobile app development in Prague

A mobile app taken from MVP to store launch, built in React Native or Flutter by the people who hand-code our fast websites. From CZK 180,000 for an MVP.

An app is not a website squeezed into a phone

Plenty of studios will tell you a mobile app is just your website in a frame. Sometimes that is true, and when it is, we say so and build you a fast mobile website instead, for a fraction of the cost. But a real app earns its place by doing things a website cannot: working offline, sending a push notification at the right moment, using the camera, sitting on the home screen where your customer already looks ten times a day.

We start every app project by pressing on that question. If a website would serve your users better, that is the recommendation you get, even though it is the smaller invoice. Only when an app is genuinely the right tool do we move on to building one.

MVP first: one job, done properly

The fastest way to waste CZK 500,000 on an app is to build every feature you can imagine before a single user has touched it. So we do the opposite. We find the one job your app has to do well, booking a slot, tracking an order, logging a workout, checking a balance, and we ship that first, polished, to real users.

An MVP is not a rough draft. It is a small, complete product: fewer features, but each one finished. You launch, watch how people actually use it, and then we build the next thing based on evidence instead of guesses. That is why our MVPs start at CZK 180,000: the number is small because the scope is disciplined, not because the work is cut short.

Native or cross-platform: how we actually choose

Most companies do not need two separate apps written twice. With React Native or Flutter we build once and ship to both iOS and Android from a shared codebase, which is why cross-platform is our default: it roughly halves the cost and the timeline, and for a booking app, a loyalty app or an internal tool, no user could tell the difference.

Fully native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) is the right call for a narrower set of projects: intensive graphics, real-time camera processing, Bluetooth or hardware integrations, anything that lives close to the metal. When your project is one of those, we say so and price it honestly. When it is not, we will not sell you two codebases you have to pay to maintain forever.

The same team that makes websites load in under a second

The reason to hire us for an app is the same reason clients hire us for the web: we are obsessive about how fast things feel. Our hand-coded websites hit a genuine 100/100 on Google PageSpeed, and we bring the same discipline to mobile: a screen that opens instantly, a list that scrolls without a stutter, an app that launches in under two seconds on a mid-range Android phone, not just the newest iPhone.

That is not a slogan. It is the same team, applying the same standard to a different device. A slow app gets deleted the same week it is installed, so performance is not a finishing touch we add at the end. It is designed in from the first screen, exactly as it is on our sites. You can see how we approach speed on the web across our portfolio.

Getting into the App Store and Google Play

Publishing an app is a project of its own, and it is where DIY builds usually stall. We handle all of it: developer accounts registered in your name, signing certificates, store listings, screenshots, age ratings and the privacy and data declarations both Apple and Google now require. Then we manage the review process, including the polite argument that sometimes follows, until your app is live.

Because the accounts are yours, you own the app outright and are never locked to us. Later updates ship under the same accounts whenever you are ready, and we make sure your team knows exactly where everything lives.

What it costs

A focused MVP for iOS and Android starts at CZK 180,000: core screens, a backend or an integration with your existing systems, analytics and store submission included. Most first releases land between CZK 180,000 and CZK 400,000, and the number is driven by scope (how many features, how much custom design, whether the backend already exists) rather than by the design itself. Every price is fixed and agreed in writing before we begin, the same way we quote a website. The full logic is on our pricing page.

Who this is for

Service businesses that want a booking or loyalty app, e-shops that need a proper mobile companion, clinics and studios with members to keep engaged, startups testing an idea before they raise, and established companies that need a clean internal tool. If you are weighing an app against a website, or are not sure which you need, start with a free quote: describe the idea in a few sentences and we will reply within 24 hours with an honest recommendation and a concrete price, even when that recommendation is the cheaper one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a mobile app cost?

A focused MVP starts at CZK 180,000: one platform pair (iOS and Android from a shared codebase), a handful of core screens, and a backend. Most first releases land between CZK 180,000 and CZK 400,000, depending on how many features are truly needed at launch and whether you already have an API we can plug into. As with our websites, the price is fixed and written down before we start, so you are never surprised by an invoice mid-project.

Native or cross-platform: React Native or Flutter?

For most business apps, cross-platform is the honest answer. React Native and Flutter let us ship the same app to iOS and Android from one codebase, which cuts the cost and the timeline roughly in half without a real quality difference for the kind of apps most companies need. We reach for fully native (Swift or Kotlin) only when a project genuinely demands it, heavy camera work, Bluetooth hardware, tight platform integrations, and we will tell you plainly when that is the case rather than upselling it by default.

How long until my app is in the stores?

A well-scoped MVP is typically ready for review in 8 to 12 weeks from a signed scope. The build itself is usually faster than the paperwork: Apple review can take a few days, and setting up developer accounts, certificates and store listings adds time we plan for up front. We give you a dated timeline before we start and treat it as a commitment, not a hope.

Can you publish to the App Store and Google Play for us?

Yes. We handle the full submission: store listings, screenshots, privacy declarations, signing and the review back-and-forth with Apple and Google. The developer accounts should be registered in your name so you own the app outright, and we walk you through that once, at the start. After launch, updates go out under the same accounts whenever you need them.

What happens after launch?

Apps need more upkeep than a static website: the operating systems change every year, and a release that is ignored eventually stops working. We offer a care plan that covers OS updates, small changes, monitoring and crash triage, so your app keeps running as iOS and Android move on. If you would rather handle it in-house, we hand over clean, documented code and the accounts, with no lock-in.

Not sure which service you need?

Describe your situation and we will point you to the right option, even if that means telling you not to buy from us yet.
